About Us

Many families around us struggle to pay for critical & unprecedented health emergencies. They either leave families in financial debt or make them give up hope of saving their loved ones. Very few have insurance facilities, and even if they do, it is not enough. Karunya Seva CSW Trust envisions a platform that will support families to overcome such emergencies, save lives and spread awareness.

Emita Roshan Dsouza, an employee of Citizen Credit Co-op Bank and resident of Happy Home Complex (St. Ignatius of Loyola community), recently experienced a debilitating stroke, leading to her hospitalization at Wockhardt Hospital. After two weeks, she has been discharged and is now undergoing essential post-hospital treatment, including physiotherapy, speech therapy, and medications. The estimated monthly expenses, including round-the-clock caretaking, amount to approximately 1 lakh. Emita is a mother of two, one of whom is autistic, and the other just 1.5 years old.
