Many families around us struggle to pay for critical & unprecedented health emergencies. They either leave families in financial debt or make them give up hope of saving their loved ones. Very few have insurance facilities, and even if they do, it is not enough. Karunya Seva CSW Trust envisions a platform that will support families to overcome such emergencies, save lives and spread awareness.

    My name is Leena Vaz, a parishioner of St. Joseph Church (Holy Family SCC), Mira Road. I write this message with a heavy heart, seeking your prayers and financial support for my beloved husband, Mr. Joseph Vaz, aged 67.

    Years ago, Joseph was employed in the Gulf, but due to heart-related complications, he had to resign and return to India. In 2005, he underwent a bypass surgery made possible through the generosity of his then-employer and our limited savings. Since then, Joseph has been unable to work.

    I used to earn a small income through babysitting, but had to give it up due to health issues caused by severe diabetes. Our son, who is a freelance photographer, does his best to support the family through occasional assignments. Our daughter, who is married with two young children, also contributes to household expenses as much as she can.

    Recently, Joseph began experiencing severe breathlessness. Medical investigations revealed multiple blockages in his heart, and doctors have advised an urgent angioplasty. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our life savings on his earlier surgery and purchasing a modest home, and we are now in no position to bear this sudden medical expense.

    We humbly request your support - be it financial assistance, prayers, or sharing this appeal within your networks. Every small contribution will help ease our burden and bring healing to a kind and loving man who has endured so much.
