My name is Alwyra Dias from St Joseph Church-Mira Road, also an Animator, and I am writing to you with a heavy heart to seek your help for my beloved husband, Steven Peter Dias, who is fighting for his life. He has suffered haemorrhage and was in a state of coma. He had to undergo a life saving surgery on 2nd Feb 2025 and part of his skull was opened due to swollen brain, and sent for preservation. The skull cap, which is removed, needs to be fixed after 3 months and would need another surgery.

My husband had a small business of making name plates. He has been in this business since 2009, but without much success. Our savings are all exhausted taking care of the household expenses and my only son’s education who is XI std. I am also physically disabled due to polio in my left leg and has been a housewife. The cost of Steven’s long-term care is overwhelming and expected to be around 15 Lakh, and despite our best efforts, we cannot afford it on our own.
